I am a psychiatrist who has been in private practice for 40 years in Chestnut Hill and Belmont, MA and previously in Palo Alto, CA. I see patients in psychotherapy at least once a week and prescribe medication when indicated. I do not see anyone just for medication, as I feel that doing psychotherapy is very helpful to a majority of patients. For front line healthcare clinicians, the chance to describe one's experiences and feelings in treating Covid-19 patients, I think is extremely and urgently important. At the moment, I am prioritizing seeing front line providers and will try to accommodate their schedules. I am able to see patients on several HIPPA protected telemedicine sites.
