I specialize in treating healthcare workers who are suffering from trauma, grief, depression, burnout, moral injury, or a combination of symptoms. I have had the privilege of working with people all along their mental health journey, whether they have complex trauma histories or have just suffered a trauma or loss, and whether they have struggled with depression for years or are now facing their first episode of depression. Wherever you are in your distress, I can meet you there to continue your progress towards wellness. My treatment uses evidence-based interventions. I believe that these interventions work best in the context of a warm and caring therapeutic relationship in which your strengths are emphasized and honored. I am passionate about avoiding overpathologizing and focus on understanding symptoms within the context where they appear. I come from a medical family and have professional experience in hospital systems. I have experienced firsthand some of the stressors of healthcare work. But you are the expert on your life. You have been coping with your suffering in the best way you can. I would be honored to share that burden with you, and to help you move to a place of healing and hope.
